Dawn Fog in the Valley

At 6AM nature’s air conditioner flows in and cools Sonoma County. This is west looking toward Point Reyes with the coastal hills in between.

After several days of near 90 degree temperatures and warm northern winds, this is a lovely sight to see.

    Good morning Linda~

OMG….what a stunning photo! WOW! How breathtaking! The mountains in the background almost look like a oil painting!

And I love how you said this…..

“At 6AM nature’s air conditioner flows in and cools Sonoma County.”

    HA!

Yes, here too it’s been very hot (in the 90’s) yet, it’s cooling down a bit this week. You know me, I’m am so not a summer person. I’m already looking forward to fall 🙂

Have a wonderful Wednesday, dear friend!

    Wow…… Holy moly….that’s the view?!

That’s the view without the smell–and I’m glad for you sharing it.
Well, I’d be glad for you sharing it with or without the smell……

There’s a sight worth getting up to witness!

I try to catch sunrise/sunset every day–there’s something about the pallet that awes me every time…..and shuts me up. I figure both are a good thing. It keeps ‘stuff’ in perspective.
    As does that view.

G-d is large and in charge–you showed proof to me here! (again!)
    Thanks for that.

Yup! Really, REALLY nice. Reminds me of where I can seldom be, on top of one of the Smokies, looking at tops of other Smokies, wondering what is ‘neath the covering of cotton. Needless to tell you, there is NOTHING so beautiful in Naples FL…except maybe the sunset in west over the Gulf of Mexico.
    Bye…with hugs in the fog!

That’s an absolutely magnificent picture. That same effect we’d often see from our place above in the hills above Portland. Here when the fog comes in all you see is the fog!
    xoxo
