And When You Grow Up…

“Petite Chatelaine”
Camille Claudel

We should say to each of our children~
Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel? Pablo Casals

  1. (((((((( Linda ))))))))) We all grieve. It’s a tough, heavy moment in time and we’re all grieving.

There’s no words to convey the heaviness of the heart today.

    ((((((((((( Linda ))))))))))))

  2. oh for every child to hear this, to know this.

  3. Stunning post, Linda!

Love the image. Love the words.

And if we said this to our children, we ourselves would be reminding ourselves as an adult.

We are UNIQUE. We are a MARVEL.

    Thanks for sharing, dear friend!

    ((((((( You ))))))
