sunset smoky sky

A beautiful sunset lingers in the sky.
The sunsets are one of the few benefits to Northern California’s summertime fires.
By now, I yearn for a crisp fall day but I know it’s at least another month away…

How’s your weather behaving ? Has fall arrived yet?

Admit something~
Everyone you see, you say to them,
“Love me.”
Of course, you do not do this out loud, otherwise someone would call the cops.
Still though, think about this, this great pull in us to connect.
Why not become the one who lives with the full moon in each eye
that is always saying with that sweet moon language
what every other eye in this world is dying to hear? ~Hafiz

    That’s a beautiful view.
Terrible weather here in Colorado, much flooding and lives lost.
Please keep Colorado in your good thoughts.

Oh wow…….I’d be hard pressed to get out of the bathtub with that view….. But first I’d have to get IN, which would be a chore at this moment. LOL

Ah, but the sunsets are earlier….and more colourful with dust from the fields here (thankfully no fires). They’re gorgeous out the front window. 🙂

This morning it’s 47 degrees. And yes, some of the trees are starting to show their colours. I was amazed at how the fields had changed in the 12 days I sat about on the couch. The beans are yellowing and the corn is turning that lovely suede colour…….and the reds of the barns really stand out now. I love this time of year. OH…and the pumpkins are turning!!! (saw that on the way to my appointment/adventure)
I’m hopeful he-who-says-NO will say YES to an adventure, even if it’s a short one. I managed to go to the patio AND this morning I’m trying to get back into my routine of coffee in the study visiting friends. 🙂
*laughing* That’s this morning, mind you. Who knows what two hours from now will look like……maybe a short ride in the Jeep? Or….maybe not! LOL I’ll take whatever comes and be grateful…(you can be snarky AND grateful, justsoyaknow…..).

*laughing* Look! Two mornings in a row!!!!
Can I just add that not only do I not get the sunset–I don’t get the crystal chandelier either. I DO however, have a basket of rubber duckies AND bath crayons! 🙂
        NOT that I get a bath yet…..But when I DO–wooooohooooo! 😉

  5. Wow! The sky itself looks like fire! My bathtub looks out over my toilet…LOL! Yours is a lovely view! It is still unseasonably warm here, too, but that means mid-80’s tops. Very pleasant for me. I can wait longer to put on a sweatshirt! But the signs of fall are still here, and the short rainy days are on their way.

HAHA, yes mine used to before we finally built our house. and i lived in a house before the previous one that was a horror with one bathroom for 5! OY!!!

80’s i love. 90’s i don’t. 100’s…absolutely not. it’s supposedly going to rain next week but we’ll see. often they say that and it never gets onshore. i am looking forward to fall. it’s my favorite time of year. i shall place hope that we are not far behind you. 🙂
