Vineyard in Fall Morning on the first day of October. Lovely, crisp and perhaps a little wistful.

🙂 THOSE are fantastic photos. I wanna plant myself on the right side of the first one and just watch it all ‘lift’ into brightness and light….or get soaking wet. LOL Amazing view….amazing colours and textures you get handed. All food for the soul. And I adore the one who got away. Looks kinda content there in all that colourful glory.
What an amazing place you get to live, work, play and love in. 🙂

You have captured autumn right down to a last, lingering grapey treasure.

      thanks doron,
the grapes were fat and juicy this year even with the heat. i should paint them but it seems rather boring to me… i see too many grapes this time of year, not that i’m complaining since we make our living with them. what am i saying?? 🙂

That last bunch of grapes looks delicious. Did you eat them?

haha, no susan, didn’t eat it… husband is responsible for this photo and he actually rarely eats them. he knows how many bees and bugs have been crawling on them, first hand. 🙂

  7. Beautiful! The coyote in me agrees with Ms. Crow, above. Even with a belly full of chanterelles, I really, really would like to snap up that bunch of big, fat purple grapes. 🙂

haha, the coyote in me feels exactly the same way EXCEPT, stupid dog, there’s lots of fat blackberries just over there! hmmmm, well, maybe the grapes are a little more plump and juicy. 🙂

do coyotes eat mushrooms? not to my knowledge but… what do i know!!

NO doubts whatever that ms. crow would eat as many grapes as was crowly possible. 😉

      2. I’m not aware that coyotes eat mushrooms, though I can’t say with certainty what an intelligent opportunist like that might eat. This one eats them, though, and now that it’s started raining here, the local ones are plentiful and cheap! I have a freezer full of blackberries, too…. 🙂
