Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing

Memory and desire, stirring

Dull roots with spring rain.

Mallard Ducks and Canadian Geese Arrive on the Dam

The mallards and geese returned awhile ago now.
In fact, because the weather has been so mild, they didn’t really go anywhere.
I never saw any flight formations heading south.
I think we ARE south now….

I’m not sure that’s a good thing.

    • They look sweet but they are quite noisy 😊

Have a lovely mom’s day whether they have the holiday up there or otherwise. You deserve it. xo

      • They are noisy, for sure. We do have mom’s day up here, in all its glorious Hallmark moments! Hee hee. I got a note from both my sons so that was nice.
