All I Want Is….

February 9, 2013

You say you want
Diamonds on a ring of gold
You say you want
Your story to remain untold

But all the promises we make
From the cradle to the grave
When all I want is you

You say youll give me
A highway with no one on it
Treasure just to look upon it
All the riches in the night

You say youll give me
Eyes in a moon of blindness
A river in a time of dryness
A harbour in the tempest
But all the promises we make
From the cradle to the grave
When all I want is you

You say you want
Your love to work out right
To last with me through the night

You say you want
Diamonds on a ring of gold
Your story to remain untold
Your love not to grow cold

All the promises we break
From the cradle to the grave
When all I want is you

You…all I want is…
You…all I want is…
You…all I want is…
You…

One – “Is it getting better?”

country womans altar

It is the longest night and the returning of the light. It is my prayer and my intention to bring peace and truth to my small place on the planet, both here and with those I love. I am inadequate but I will try to stay on the path. Might we all find solace in knowing it is one moment at a time. Always with the knowledge that what we experience may be changed in an instant. That truth transmutes all we do, all we offer, all we think. There is somewhere within that knowing, power to make a change.

“Sisters and brothers, we get to carry each other.”
